 Xiang Embroidery-Unique Chinese characteristics
Embroidery is an art craft performed by using needle and colored thread to prick and stitch fabrics including silk, satin, ninon, yarn, thin silk, cloth and hemp according to designed patterns.
The various colored threads are mixed together, showing a gradual change in color with a rich and harmonious tone. Designs on Xiang embroidery mostly derive from traditional Chinese paintings of landscapes, human figures, flowers, birds and animals.

Xiang Embroidery is a general name for embroidery works produced in and around Changsha of Hunan Province. This embroidery style is developed from folk embroidery in Hunan and has absorbed the essence of Su and Yue embroidery styles.

Xiang Embroidery works were granted the most excellent award and top award in 1912 and 1933 respectively at the Turino Expo in Italy and the Panama World Fair. The works were honored as embroidery masterpieces.
Note: the color of each product might not exactly the same, because our Xiang Embroidery are made buy people's hands not machine. The photo shown on the top are taken from the real one as a reference.
